Overview

The following are current activities underway by Research Support Services or events outside the university that may be of interest to data management. If you would like to schedule an event for your students, research group or department, please send an email to mketterling@mines.edu.

2018 National Data Integrity Conference @ Colorado - TBD

Aug. 7 - Aug. 9, 2018
RMACC High Performance Computing Symposium @ CU-Boulder

Researchers and faculty can learn about using computational science in the laboratory or classroom, and students can learn about career opportunities and display their own research.

July 22 - July 26, 2018
PEARC18 @ Pittsburgh, PA

PEARC18 is for everyone who works to realize the promise of advanced computing as the enabler of seamless creativity, the theme of this year's conference. Scientists and engineers, scholars and planners, artists and makers, students and teachers all depend on the efficiency, security, reliability and sustainability of increasingly complex and powerful digital infrastructure systems. If your work addresses these challenges in any way, PEARC18 is the forum to share, learn and inspire progress.

March 21-23, 2018
Research Data Access and Preservation Summit (RDAP) 2018 @ Chicago, IL

The Summit is relevant to the interests and needs of data managers and curators, librarians who work with research data, and researchers and data scientists. A wide range of disciplines from the life sciences, physical sciences, social sciences, and humanities will be represented. The Summit will bring together practitioners and researchers from academic institutions, data centers, funding agencies, and industry.
