  1. Who will control access to the archived data after the project ends?
    • This depends on where the data are archived. The researcher will work campus Research Support Services or with staff at the subject- or discipline-based repository to determine who the gatekeeper will be, if required.
  2. Who will manage data and its availability after the project ends?
    • This depends on where the data are archived. The researcher will work with the campus Research Support Services or with staff at the subject- or discipline-based repository or other data center to fulfill funder requirements and determine how quickly data will be made available, how long the data will be available, and what access requirements and limitations will be put in place.
  3. What is the Mines Insitutitional Repository and how can it help me?
    • The repository is at http://publish.mines.edu
    • It is appropiate for end-of-project data storage and archiving
    • It aims to provide an inventory of the datasets on campus (in this case it may only hold a project description or sample data product)
